More funds to be allocated to Local Councils (especially in key touristic areas) to invest in Green Lungs, cleanliness, litter collection and maintenance of roads, pavements, street signs etc. * New and innovative technologies used across Europe should be explored to improve efficiency. * Massively increase fines for littering and illegal waste dumping. * Central Government to fund more afforestation in all Local Councils in Malta and Gozo.
