Protection should be given to families and companies who have a PV system installed that they will not be overshadowed by a neighbouring or nearby high building that came after the date of their investment. For the building permit to go ahead, it must be made sure that the PV system still receives a good amount of sunlight. Else a calculated "Solar Rent" is to be paid by developer for the loss of sunlight to that system.
