There has been haphazard regeneration of villages by replacing older buildings (especially those without any architectural value) with apartments. We should have local plans that establish proper and coherent height limitations, aesthetic considerations and adequate open spaces (perhaps overlying underground parking). A longer term plan will help investors, property owners and the construction industry. We can make our villages aesthetically pleasant instead of a collection of flatsijiet.
