The plan would provide for a range of intitiatives that support and provide incentives for organisations and community members to adopt measures that address climate change and make them accessible and affordable for everyone.
Detailed but easy would be the key. Focusing on making it clear what people can do in the area. Provide links to local rooftop installers, links to gardening groups, links to education pages, links to transport feedback surveys (as they run these but people dont participate to say e.g. buses are full give us more)
I like the idea of having a holistic plan rather than a bunch of random actions. We should know what our footprint is, where our gaps are and what we can uniquely leverage. Should our focus be domestic homes? Commercial buildings? how are both progressing in terms of onsite generation? where should any incentives or education programs focus? What about our unique tree coverage in Bennelong, how do we protect and grow this? An actual strategy would be excellent.
